Come with me to Heiloo in The Netherlands this summer for the third year of Making your Mark Abroad. Together, we will spend time in the studio awakening your creativity by exploring a wide variety of mixed media techniques, from pen and ink mark making to cyanotypes to textile art. In our free time, we will discover the rich artistic landscape and natural beauty of this tiny, fascinating country. Whether we are marveling at the beauty of Vermeer’s famous Girl with the Peal Earring, painting our own Delft pottery, visiting a working water windmill, sampling delicious artisanal Dutch cheeses and chocolates from local producers, winding through the canals by boat, or travelling to out-of-the-way rural villages by bike, our travel experiences will feed our creative souls and light up new pathways of artistic expression.
